And so when SewGalCal decided to do her "Quilt Show", I decided to join. Here is my entry. Some may think it's not a Christmas quilt. But it makes me think of the beautiful cardinals in a Christmas Snow.
It was a little challenging because of all the different angles of the windows, but I did it. Making one of these was definitely enough. Hope it makes you think of a wonderful snowy Christmas Day!
Your quilt is absolutely fabulous. You are a very talented quilter. Congratulations!

Totally cool quilt! I live in a townhouse so I need one of these to hang over my kitchen window, so I can imagine I live in the country. (Instead of looking into another person's kitchen window). It really is wonderful!
ReplyDeleteVery nice.....I'm with you I get a thrill seeing the cardinals on a cold snowy day.....too bad they don't travel in groups like this we'd get a real show!
ReplyDeleteIt's a lovely wall hanging and feels very Christmasy to me!
Happy sewing
Love the window and of course, the cardinals are perfect for it! I don't see cardinals often but it's very exciting when I do.

ReplyDeleteThat is one of the best window quilts I have seen. Its fabulous and I love all the cardinals too. I wonder if they do flock together like that, being in Australia I have not seen them as we dont have them here. Beautiful!
